I believe libraries have the opportunity to be catalysts to accelerate viable and livable Smart Communities. While technology can effect positive change in our world, it cannot do so without planning for the people side: anticipating those who need to understand, learn, promote, train, adopt, use, manage and optimize technology and new processes to change and improve how we work, live and thrive.

I help mission-led organizations and individuals accelerate results. . Working with non-profits and associations, municipalities, social impact companies and faith-based organizations, I help tightly align new strategies with business growth plans, marketing, communications, business development, and sales to speed go-to-market impact and ensure that outcomes are realized. Using a customer-centric approach, I help organizations deliver early wins and successfully navigate introductions of new offerings, new programs, and new companies, as well as transformation, turnaround and change management initiatives. The result is accelerated growth, but highly engaged employees, customers, partners, and citizens. 

Over the last decade, I’ve had the opportunity to hold strategy and marketing leadership roles at Nokia and Siemens, driving the growth of 4G and 5G, Customer Experience Management, the Internet of Things and Smart Cities. In earlier sales leadership roles at Siemens and IBM, I drove revenue and built business relationships with enterprise, communications service provider, and government decision makers.  In interim management roles at Viavi Solutions and the Telecommunications Industry Association, I led transformation, merger and rebranding initiatives.  Most recently I have been providing consulting and coaching to non-profits, social impact startups, and communities.

I’ve served in leadership roles in community and faith-based organizations, as well as in industry and standards organizations. Born in Houston, Texas and a graduate of Duke University,  I am a proud mom, a Zumba enthusiast, and have visited all fifty states in the USA.
